Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough

We almost missed National Sourdough Day (April 1), but decided deserves the whole weekend! This Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough recipe offers a bit of tang that tastes great buttered up for breakfast, delicious with peanut butter and could even be grilled into a delicious panini! Dough Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Sourdough Starter, Ripe (fed) or Discard
  • 3 cups of Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp of Instant Yeast
  • 1 tbsp of Granulated Sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp of Salt
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 5 tbsp of Softened Butter
  • 2/3 cup of Lukewarm Water

Filling Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ceylon Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp of  Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Egg, Beaten with 1 tbsp of Water
  • 1/2 cup of Raisins
