Cake Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (1/4 oz each) of Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/2 cup of warm Water
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of warm 2% Milk
  • 2 large Egg Yolks
  • 1-1/4 tsp of Salt
  • 1 tsp of Grated Lemon Zest
  • 1/4 tsp of Ground Nutmeg
  • 3-1/4 to 3-3/4 cups of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp of Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 large Egg

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups of Confectioners' Sugar
  • 2 tsp of Lemon Juice
  • 2 to 3 tbsp of Water
  • Colored Sugars (Green, Purple & Yellow)

After baking, don't forget to place a toy baby under one slice!
